Welcome to Southside Star Youth FC
Southside Star Youth FC is a friendly, inclusive grassroots football club based in Cheltenham, providing football for children and young people from Cubs through to U18s. We are proud to be a club where players can learn, develop, make friends and enjoy being part of a team. Whether your child is taking their very first steps into football or has been playing for years, our aim is to create a positive, safe and supportive environment where every player feels welcome. At Southside, football is about more than the scoreline. It is about confidence, teamwork, respect, resilience and having fun.
Football for All
We offer opportunities across a wide range of age groups, including our younger Cubs section, mixed teams and girls’ teams.
Our coaches and volunteers give their time week in, week out to help players grow both on and off the pitch. We encourage effort, commitment and a love of the game, while making sure children enjoy their football in a safe and supportive setting.

Safeguarding and Welfare
The safety and wellbeing of our players is at the heart of everything we do.
